CDs On Line

Local banks aren't given much on CDs, 2-2.4% or so for a yrs, think it was. Looked on line and found a bank in Michigan that gives 3.97% for 12 months, got it on CD auction site. Will it's FDIC ins and was recc by a Fin investor banker so were'll give it a shot.
Besides I'm hopping that by doing so I'll help out some of our friends out there!:rolleyes: $$$$:nonod::D
Anyone every use these sites?
