those 60*s are great lil motors, too bad the ex runners are so damn small... From what i hear the new 3.fo's are just as small :rolleyes:

:iagree:... ive seen some 9k+ used and abused cranks that were built w/o the alignment tool with no problems in between freshening... I have had a crank fail (disclaimer: on a carbed looper) and i dont think Phil has eitha :D

if theres any question about a rod caps alignment, i pull it and throw it away.

I never thought much of the rod tool either until I started using it a lot, it makes assembly that much easier.

yah,that chipped prop for 10 minutes must really test the lower unit and gearcase!
