Now this is interesting having spent nealy 7 weeks in Greece over the past four yrs and getting to learn a lot from the Greeks and other Europeans. I've mentioned here before that Europe is a powder key waitting to go off. Well Greece wasn't first on my list but they have a die hard group of young commie minded liberals that want their goverment to support them craddle to grave. They see many of their fellow Greeks doing very well, and they work really hard to get ahead, but they don't want to do what they have too in order to get ahead, you see them here too!!!!
Anyway a local dinner owner, from Greece, also fills me in on what's going on there. It seems that half of the Greeks want a pro capitalist pro foreign investment goverment while half want a socialist goverment with no international investment. So that's what it comes down too, the old way of thinking vrs investment and hard work. Take the resort island, greek, of Santorini. Those folks turned a shattered island, after most of the homes were distroyed with a 7.5 quake and the volcano eruption, into the #1 seasonal island in the world. These folks had a can-do additude and put it all on the line, 16hr days were the norm at low wages. They still want more and seem to never stop striving to succeed. I would bet that those young commie punks in Athens feel that those tourist rich islands should share their wealth?
