tide was alil high my house nock on wood has never flooded from a high tide but what happened was the dry well in front of the basement door overflowed and the rain water came over the door jam . the crane is putting in a new bulkhead in on the lot next to me. it should look really good next summer he made his dock the same hight as the one i put in last year and the deck will match so it will look like all the same dock. did you see the crane boom sitting at the ramp at tanner ? it just showed up one night last week.

i have the riva rideplate and a 2 degree wedge


the wedge went on the first week i bought the 250 . it it made a decent difference as far as nose lift . when you first get the machine it plows through the water , it sucks , the wedge is mandatory imo

the rideplate gave a lot of nose lift , a lot of people dont run the wedge with the rideplate they feel it is too much nose lift , but i like it

you could stay in the water easliy for an hour without much discomfort , i would imagine you could SURVIVE many many hours

my wetsuit is a 5mm surfing wetsuit , 5 mm booties and decent gloves , and a hood

if you really wanted to stay in the water while surfing you can get the wetsuit where the hood is connected to the wetsuit

the big downside with my set up would be water coming in from the neckline

you would be suprised how warm i was all bundled up like that

imo it totally sucks when it is stock , it is a plowing pig

the difference between stock and after you do the rideplate and pump wedge is night and day

it is like taking a good outboard performance boat and riding it with the trim all the way down , it sucks

then all of a sudden you trim it out , and now it is 1000 times better . that's what it is like imo

the pump wedge and riva rideplate completely changes the machine
