looking to buy one, my first upgraded camera from a typical point and shot..

just looking for quality photos, long zoom and ease of use

I have the D80 and really like it.

i have a 20-50 and a 50-200m

works well but good glass will cost you.

He's talking about the P80, it's an "advanced" point-and-shoot.

It's a great camera for the money.

Some examples of what the 80 has done for me
i enjoy it and still have yet to use its full capability

very nice Toasty, those were with the P80? how do you find the speed of the camera to be? seems to be the major downfal compared to SLR,

In my in-store testing of the P80 (and Canon S5is, etc) I found that their low-light, no-flash, high-ISO indoor performance is unmatched by most SLR combos. The zoom capability is incredible.
