The Craiglist Sniper strikes again!!!

Found this motor on North Jersey craiglist. Its going on my SB16. You Jersey guys sure now how to take care of a motor. Came from Lake Hopatong got there Tuesday morning as salesman was opening up marina. (He knew I was coming). Motor has 110 compression on all cyls. You could eat off the motor it is so clean. It came with controls, harness, ans a OMC SS prop that still has the paint on the blades. All for $500!!!
Even a blind squirrel gets a nut every now and then !!!

Ran 49MPH on GPS w/Tohatsu 90. I am expecting more with this. We will see

what marina was it at?

I did not notice the name of the Marina. The address was 157 Route 181 which is Woodport Rd. The sell Chapparels and Pontoon boats. The salesmans name was Dennis. He said it was on an old 18' trihull SeaRay and the owner passed away. There were a few Marinas right in the vicinity.

This year was the 5'-0" lowering of the lake for dock and seawall repair. Made the season a little shorter this year. But it lets you know where all the objects are in the lake.

Great find! Looks clean as a whistle. I'm amazed they let it go so cheap.

I had an Evinrude 100 XP, ran the hell out of it for ten years. With proper maintenance, you just cannot hurt those V-4's.
