What size is the laser and how many revs??.
See how many RPM's you can turn the 24. If you've got a low water pickup, put the propshaft 1" under the pad for starters, it should run well at that height in the 60-75 mph range.
Nice boat...

I have a jack plate (hydrolic) no low water pickup, boat wasn't sold till 2003, so mint condition!! I feel it was the perfect boat. 26 pitch laser 2 running 5600 rpms, wanting more!!! pic trying to force onto pad , 30 mph.

Agree the 24 should be a good choice ,if is it standard you can always get a little work done to it .

I'm running a Merc Chopper 24 on my Valero YT Bowrider with a Merc 175. With no low water pickups, manual Jack plate, 2" below the pad, I'm running upper 60's/low 70's.
