Ok, I'm a newbie to this entire thing, I purchased a 1984 Baja 160 Sport, at least that is what I've determined it to be, I used the boat all last year and decided that I was going to redo it over this winter, I gutted the inside and removed the cap, I discovered that the boat has had some repair work to the decking but I think who ever did it did more harm than good. I now want to replace the wood and stringers in the boat but I'm not sure where to start. If anyone has pictures of there project it would be great. Or just some advice.

Thanks

I have a 1985 Baja Sport 160. John Tiger had it before me, and he had it restored by John Spaeth.

You could not do better than dragging your boat up to Brechin. It's not so far from NY.

You could cut down on your cost by stripping out the old core yourself.

David, thanks do you have any contact info on John, I was looking into doing the work myself but if he is reasonable in price I would consider having it done elsewhere.

Thanks Tyler

See your pm or search for his name. His number is posted here often enough.

Or look for Hydrostream in the Brechin yellow pages on line.
