What to Merc 2.0s, 2.4s and 2.5s weigh?

My late 70's factory manual says that 20" shaft motors weigh as follows:

2.0s weigh 350 lbs.
2.4s weigh 335 lbs.

Are these numbers optimistic or are thse motors really this light?

What do 20" 2.5s weigh. Need the info for an upcoming project where weight will be critical.

They are light, but I'm not sure the weights factor in the external trim pump.

260 EFI 20" OFF SHORE weighed 375 LBS
280 EFI 15" OFF SHORE weighed 375 LBS
280 EFI 20" OFF SHORE weighed 400 LBS

If weight is critical put on diet.:cool: Power trim exhaust housing #100lbs. Shifting gear case ..... SSM is lighter. 2.4 block is lightest of all. A trash bag for a cover......:rolleyes::D
