Ok, the cut off date for the room block is today !!!!!!!!!!!! There are still rooms available in the block. I am working with the baymont Inn and Suites right now to see if they will extend the block for one more week. I know a ton more people are coming than have made room reservations at this point. Come on you slackers, get on the phone !!!!! Ya'll better get going and call right now or the block may be gone and you will be on your own trying to find a room.

I have blocked 10 rooms starting on August 17th and 10 more starting on August 18th. All of them run through the 24th. The rates have gone up since last year. Something about other events at the same time. Regular room prices are from $85.00 to $100.00+. The best I was able to do was $75.00 a night. You will need to call and reserve your own rooms. You need to call before July 31st or they will release the rooms and give them away.

There is only one double left in the BTTW block. I booked a king and they gave me a discount, but not as good as BTTW rate.

Mike. I am staying over Monday night thru Thursday night. But then, I only live an hour away. I couldn't party and drive last time when I drove home. Look out now and hide your Kettle One and Grey Goose. Those of you who don't know me, look for the overweight, old guy with the Sunny D BLUE CAP bottles sitting on a case of diet Mountain Dew! :D ;)

And the resaon the rooms are gone is because they let the block go. They were supposed to hold it until the end of this week. I got them to hold back another 4 rooms until the 11th. They did say the hotel was fairly open for that week though so getting a room should be possible.

Nick call em back. There were some King size rooms in my block and they were supposed to hold em till the end of week so you should be able to get the better rate.

Maybe it's worth an extra FIVE BUCKS not to be in your cell, oops, I mean room block. At my age, I need me beauty sleep!

I'm up at 3 Lakes cottage and will try out the STV motor sometime tomorrow. Will give you a call sometime after I light it up!
