Just for kicks I put on a 27 trophy and wanted to see how it would work from a dead stop with 2 people in the boat, not too bad at all.... :rolleyes:

Warren I'm with ya here... SOMETHIN' FISHY!!! not sure of what gear ratio is bein run, But lets just say 1.87 w/ 27 pitch trophy prop and the max I seen the tach go was about 6800... Given this info It would have a -12% prop slip (yes NEGATIVE 12%) something aint right...:rolleyes: "27p w/ 1.87 gears has to turn @ least 8k to run over 100mph and there was only a 7k tach and it was never peg'd":rolleyes: But I could be wronge...
