i just picked up a 1984 19' eliminator off ebay. i am looking for any and all information i can find on this boat. i bought it with a blown up 2.4 200 on it. midsection drilled below the waterline. going to try to set up something quick for this summer, then once i have the money, get a motor this boat deserves. i would really like to know the dry weight of the boat, hp rating, history, anything you know. thanks

Contact Eliminator Boats and give them your boats ser. #. Thats what I did. Didn't get a lot of info but worth a try. I have a 245 carb on mine. Gonna put a 280 on in a few weeks.

Call Stephanie at (951)943-4422 for the HIN info, then ask for John Lovell on the basics of the hull...

Some of those things were so heavy,, 2 guys couldn't lift up one back corner of a bare hull. We ran it with a 280.

Likely, maybe not though... Take some pix of the inside glass work and email them to john@eliminatorboat.com...
19' / 21' low-pro hulls are about 600# these days...

I have a Nordic picklefork that I am told uses the eliminator hull, my boat is great on rough water as long as you are moving fast. I love the way it walks across chop, however in the turns it feels like you are going to flip over the opposite way you are turning. Good luck,I think you will love the way it handles in chop.Just my opinion.
David
I am told my boat is a fast river boat but a slow race boat.:)

Mine runs 90's with the 245.But its a light kevlar hull and a true tunnel. Drive great does good in chop. Lots of fun. I heard some of these boats are heavy. If yours is heavy get more power.

Thats bad news. Its not just the boat business. Hopefully times will get better.

Check your HIN# that is not a Eliminator Daytona, Looks more like a Nordic or some other splash, The deck is different, and the pad should have a notch on each side of it, and Eliminator didn't put bracing on each side of the interior. What did you pay for it? I have a 86 Daytona I would have gave you a good deal on.

Its paint scheme is very similar. The pictures that shows the stringers looks just the same--carpet inside of the upright two by fours, end grain balsa ending where the curve begins to go down the side of the sponsor. However, I do agree that mine doesn't have the supports in the sponsons, and it does have little notches either side of the center pod. The gold anodizing and many of the details look familiar, the left hand steering, and the rest. The simple answer, and there are those on this board who understand better than me, is that the first two letters in the hull number should be EL. They should be on the outside of the transom above the right sponson.
I stepped up from a 14 foot Hydrostream Vandal to the Daytona 21. Of course, the 21 is a bigger boat, and I'm sure much heavier than the Mirages and STVs, and I don't see their kind of speed. However, the Eliminator just runs right across the top of a chop that would have beat me up in the Vandal.
I have an OMC 300, and I run a hair under 90. If I took the time to do a little bit of work to raise the motor, I suspect I would be running a little faster.

I have a 1979 nordic and it looks like yours. I have the same stand off that used to be gold but the gold has peeled away.(you can still see a little gold)
I have noticed that the Eliminator hull on top flairs out more in the front, than the Nordic hull, If you notice the hull on a Nordic runs straight from the fork straight on back to the transome. I do have the supports as well that hold the motor to the stringers. My mounts are bolted through the transome right to to the stand-off.

You will love that boat.

what kind of speed do you see with that 200? and do you have any idea on the approximate weight?

The best its ever ran was 79.6 on gps as far as the weight of the hull, I was told from the previous owner that the hull weighs 695pounds unrigged.(bare hull) My boat rides smooth.
David
I will post some pics of my boat as soon as my son gets home from school.
