Yeh I was always keepin an eye out for a really nice vintage hull
and i stumbled on this one and a 1974 Rally Sport.

I bought it from just seein the pic.I was so amazed of how
original and pristine it was.

I'm the 3 rd owner and the guy I bought it from only had used it
2 or 3 times.

Ya gotta love the classics

What did you say that hulls was? I have a SleekCraft Monterey which appears to have the same hull as that, only exception is the deck has a little different line where the windsheild rails meet the deck. can you post some more pics of it? i have been trying to find out more info on mine but no one ha had a clue! Mine is a 1972. had a 1400 merc which i am still running on it. i got mine from an old boss, he was the original owner, have a clue as to where i could come up with a windsheild for it? Mine was broke, have been running it without one, and guess i will have to make one. Also you said 16' Mine is 16'10" to be exact, i always thought it was a 17.

It's a SideWinder .... I'm not too familiar with these hulls but I
know Delaware Rick has one that is supposed to be a bad ass
machine !!!!!!

It's definately a cool lookin hull for the time period ... I'm just
not too crazy about the Chrysler though :(

Might just stick a GT 150 on her

I had one just like it in 75. It was my very first boat of performance types. It had a 135 merc on it. Stable as hell but not too fast. I had it that summer and went to Streams summer of 76.

You’re driving that when you could be driving one of my national champion F1 boats. You need to get out here.

That 16' Sidewinder hull is the same as my old Tahiti jet.The only difference I had a flat deck SK style deck. The parts guy at the Merc dealership had a Yellow SW like yours with a 455 and manual trim.he was the 2nd fastest on the creek.Good hull,I made some giant leaps with that boat that you wouldn't believe.

Nice to see a well kept classic, the mopar, well.:D

I love those old sidewinders. Not the fastest hull around but a lot of fun and has a certain pinache'. A friend had one with an Olds 455 and jet drive.
