1-1-09 Sarasota New Years Day Fun Run .....in memory of "Rebel Man".

High Noon at 10th St Boat ramp / Hyatt to Mar Vista for lunch. The route depends on the weather, there are pleanty of ways to get there , open to boats of ANY size.......come one come all. No entry, no prizes, no bull, just boating and fun.

I miss the run for one reason or another every year and will miss it again this year. We have my parents coming into town on New Years Eve and this woulndt work with them.
I am particularly disappointed as I had met Rebel over the summer at our Speedwake bash for the Sarasota Offshore races. I hope you guys have a great day on the water.

did a shakedown run on the express yesterday, i hadnt got her wet in a year, ran good except one rubber grommet to a breather seems to have relaxed and oiled down the starbord motor and on the way home it munched the impeller for a raw water pump on the port motor, got her fixed this morning and ready to rock it New Years...
