'Twas the night before Rumble and all through Skip's place,
was the sound of guitars, and even a bass.
The Talon was parked in the backyard with care.
"I'd sure like to take ya, I'll wish you were there"
With Wendy in blue jeans and Skip in his "hat"
they packed up the van including both cats.
Somewhere in Carrolton the name up in lights
"Fast Company HERE LIVE Saturday Night"
Out in the tiki bar there arose such a clatter
Greg was cranking his Marshall to make it sound fatter.
Halveb's rig was packed with mics and PA
After setting it all up he'll be too tired to play.
Then amidst all these worrying guys they appear
It's Damage, and woodco and they both brought their gear.
With a one and a two and a three and a four,
Fast Company opened with ol "Heavens' Door"
They covered hits by Van Halen and the Brothers Doobie,
Warrant and Poison's "Talk Dirty To Me"
With Vocals by Kathy, she sang em all
and BK on backup, major labels might call.
H2Onut was up front and clappin his hands
Through his one good eye they were a good looking band.
The Bombardier guys were hanging with da Merc's.
not one single wise crack, no one was a jerk.
And I heard Skip exclaim as he packed up his gear.
"Next Time will be different, I'll get Pounder up here"
Y'all have fun now y'hear.
