According to a Lifeline dealer the company is either going out of business or selling it to someone else. Anyway we could not order a new jacket and was told that all inventory was sold at Parker. They could not tell us when new orders would be taken.
So who else makes racing jackets?

SRP (Security Race Products) is still making them but, you don't have the choices of collors that LifeLine offered. Now Thats ashamed:nonod:

I'd hate to think they've sold out to some "offshore" interests.

Whether the jacket is Lifeline, SRP or any other jacket...the color orange is what they use for racing and it is the only color allowed to be worn with APBA (better visibility and easier to see you). Hopefully that is never the case but APBA only allows orange jackets to be worn.....when you order the jacket you need to tell them your measurements in order for the jacket to fit you correctly, it should fit snug. Make sure there is enough impact material and that it has straps that attach to your legs. Believe me those jackets WILL save your life. Phil survived 3 horrific accidents without severe injuries because of those jackets. He died with a regular life jacket on. I have pictures and a video (that I haven't shown before) that will shock you to see what he survived, I already showed one but I have another one that I will post.

Hi Everyone here at Scream and Fly. FYI, Lifeline Jackets is a family owned business since 1967, and we are in the second generation of ownership. We manufacture in the USA and ship worldwide. For all your marine safety needs do not hesitate to call Lifeline direct. 928-669-9241

Have you ever considered becoming a supporting vendor on Scream and Fly? Were over 40,000 strong now, and I'm not aware of another site that has this many racer's on it.

I think there are some other sites with as many actual racers ... but no other sites with as many racing fans!

Not to hi jack the thread but I have a question anout the flying STV. Do the recessed areas in the rear half of the deck have an areodynamic purpose or does it just add shape to the deck to stiffen it?
Thanks.
