Blueprinting 200hp Mariner Magnum EFI

Hi,

Could any1 give me any insight as to any information that i may be able to get hold of wrt blueprinting my Mariner 200 Magnum EFI outboard.

I have searched the net for quite a while, but cannot find any decent information.
I am from South Africa, so it would be pointless to tell me to contact a dealer etc. in your respective countries.

I am currently getting +- 70mph out of my bass rig, but obviously as we all are, am wanting that little bit extra.

Set up is the first place to start for speed.
More compression is the often the first step if you want to modify the motor.

give us sum info???....rpm, comp numbers, fuel avalible, yeer ov mota, geer case(coned or not), exhaust(open or not), prop etc...

Sound'd like a stockie 200 efi to me...so I got a purdy good Ideer what air it flow's, in and out...

HI. [T-REX. My response was directed to q BALL] Allow me to clarify. His enquiry pertains to the engine powerhead. We should know what is involved maybe he does not. I will leave it for you to answer which is mani, reed blocks gasket matching removing burr,s and glue lines to assist intake flow ditto for the exhaust and chest . It,s important he understands these in themselves will likely show little improvement to power output but is an important process to amplifie more power making changes . That is what I meant. thanks. I didn't meen it quite tha way I wrote it(got tha wife to reed it, and she said I sounded like a smartazz)....I am a practice'in azz hole, but reely didn't meen ta be a smartazz!!....U have a good'n:thumbsup:
