This thread is in memory of a very close personal friend of mine as well as a great friend to many others. Bruce Grimminger passed away Saturday morning after being involved in a terrible boating accident in the Bellport Bay area.
I have a few pics and videos that help to show what a great guy Bruce was.
Bruce always had a great story to tell, always had an upbeat attitude, always there to lend a helping hand and always on time for a boat haul or service.
Here are some of my memories with Bruce.

Bruce was one of the nicest guys you would ever meet. He shared the same passion for performance boating that we all have in common. He will be deeply missed from all of us on the east end but remembered for his kindness and warmth he gave to everybody in the boating community. I'll personally miss the "get togethers" that all of us east enders would have in Moriches bay and the smiles and laughs we shared as we "Rip it Up" out there.

services are today 7-9 and tomorrow 2-4 and 7-9.

there will also be a flotilla in Moriches bay on Sat with a cruise to the inlet. Bill will post the details with times.

Bruce wasnt a poster on here... i always joked with him that he was affraid of the internet lol. but he lived and breathed boating especially race boats. he has been to plenty of gatherings.

so a gathering on the bay for him is what we will do

Bruce
My brother bill introduced me to you a few years ago through our love for boating.
I just wanted to thank you for being a great freind to my brother. He will always remember you as will I.
Also I especially would like to thank you for giving my brother's son Erik
the honer of naming your last boat. May you " RIP IT UP " where ever you are.
