Rick- Thank you, I love to beat on car motored boats! It is mostly a freshwater boat, but it boat used to make an annual trip to the Atlantic, (Mass.), before I owned it. You can't tell, and I plan on taking it to the salt, (Florida), possibly next year for a long weekend.

The Rumble isn't about who has the prettiest, most expensive, fastest rig, it's a group of people getting together in one spot that share same passion.

Sure, someone will be known as having the fastest boat there. Someone else will be the prettiest, another boat the coolest.
But there is always someone faster, richer, stronger, and prettier out there anyway.

I think the Rumble is also about the "grassroots" backyard weekend warrior. It sounds like you will fit right in!

I think when it is all said and done, we'll be talking about the people we met and the friends we made at the Rumble, then their boats.

We're kinda stretched out.

I'm at the Inn but the boat will be on the water, the trailer unhooked and parked at the park? I'll have the car but don't dare drive back to the Inn after a couple beers at the park at night, can you say "sitting duck".

We need a shuttle of some sort back to the hotels.

It's a shame we can't keep the boats at the hotel like we did at Palatka.

I guess we can pull them out at the park and gather there to check 'em all out. Still need a shuttle though back to the hotel.

Any ideas?

I heard there is truck parking at the Holliday Inn, but I'm not sure if that means we can take the boats there or not, or if we just tow into the hotel with the boats to check in and then take the boats to the park. Instigator could probably tell us. I just thought it would be cool to see all the boats of one type next to eachother, kinda like at the RBR I seen pics of allthe Mirage's together, and STVs together, etc. Regardless...I fell like I'm a 5 year old again waiting for the fair to come to town. I Can't wait!:D :cool:

The police department is going to patrol for us and put an officer in the Park on patrol to watch our rigs from sun down to sun up to, so they'll be secure.

Posted this a bunch of times but I guess it keeps getting bumped around.
We have a shuttle service scheduled to haul your butts around Saturday and Sunday.
Can't remember the exact schedule we agreed on but something like 1:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. :eek: for Saturady and about 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Sunday.
He will be runnning a contiuous route between the park, all the bars :D and down to the main hotel/motels by the freeway.
He will be going by the entrance to the General Butler State Park so any of you campers that want to hustle yourself out to the entrance, he will pick you up.
Can't remeber what your fare is?? Oh, that's right, it's free! :eek:
We are paying them, but not much so if you guys want to tip them something, that'd be a great idea!
Especially if they're picking you up at the Tiki Bar and you've been there a while, if you know what I mean:cool:

I am leaving after work on Thursday. I should be on the road by 6:00 PM if all goes to plan. We are stopping for dinner in Cinci, it's kind of a tradition we started this summer since we have towed through Cinci 4 or 5 times en route to Lake Cumberland. Nothing fancy, just a cheap burrito joint we like. Biggest burritos around!!!

We are at the Holliday Inn..so when you come in, look for a silver GMC van with Bruce (all the junk wouldnt fit into the truck that matches the boat so we have to take the van) Be careful on the drive, and see you there:)
