Redline Boats???

I saw an add for a "redline - activator" recently and it looked like a pretty good deal except i have never heard of redline boats. Is this the same as an activator? Any light that can be shed on this subject would be much appreciated.:)

They are very similar to a Superboat/Activator...

They were only in business for a few years and produced less than 10 boats.

The deck looks more like an Activator than anything. But DONT get them confused. It is not an activator. Post some pics..

I think Redline did a splash of the Superboat 21 too...didn't Chris Lacey have one like that?

I think your right.

Ive seen this Redline before, it use to have a 250 efi on it. Check the transom and stringer setup in the back thoroughly. Gas tank replacement ect...

yes redline made a splash of the 21 super/shadow etc....i have never seen a redline with an activator deck so when i saw this add while back i thought something was fishy......

one thing with redlines is that most of them had no core in the bottom which can be a good thing since you dont have to worry about rotten balsa but i have seen a few of them come apart at the entry in the bow....

if your looking be sure to have someone who truly knows what they are looking at go over the structure of it well.....
