Plan to travel as far south as Monterey wife has an uncle in Santa Cruz we will visit.
Never been to the west coast, only have a few days but want to make the most of it.

Flat,
San Fran Is OK place Little on cool side because of the fog. Fishermans wharf is nice, the worlds windyest street is worth a ride down, Hard Rock Cafe has some great memoriblia. Down In Monterey area is the "17 mile drive" it's beautiful and goes through pebble beach goof course.

Been to San Fran more than a few times, too much to see to list, C-mate covered some good ones, heed his warning about the chilly temps! Out of probably 6 trips I took there I only remember one with nice weather! It can get WINDY and COOL, bring a light warm Jacket....Your Scream and Fly kacket would be a great choice!:D Take the boat trip out to Alkatraz it's a hoot, they have the original heads the guys made! Chridelli candy factory, the warf, ride a cable car! What ever ya do get to the top of some of the hills, it's a fantastic view back down to the bay! Cool to see the houses built vert against the 45 degree streets! Great place to visit, you;ll have a good time! You'll see some things you may not have seen before HeHehehehe
