....needed. I have worked on my three V8's for a while but two of them are still not producing power and it is quite a bit of a mystery. I need another set of eyes to check it and do a diagnostic about what it can be. Is there any OMC gurus close to Palm Coast / Daytona Beach that someone can higly recommend ?

Drive a few hours south and go see Monty. He's in Stuart.

I thought about that. Send me his number and I will give him a call.

I was hoping the altitude difference would show some change and I could start working on the carbs.... Not a bit difference from here to Vegas. The outers are only going to 4000 RPM with 20" props while the center is doing 5500 with a 26".... I know they are sitting too deep but not deep enough to loose 2700 RPM....

Thank you. Just spoke to him, and will take the boat down there after he moves in to the new shop. Going to work in a few days anyway so that will be perfect..

Make SURE you tell him you came to him through me. :) He's going to be doing another motor for me here soon and I want him to take this into account. ;)

That will not be hard as he already heard about me through you. He found my setup quite interesting and he was very nice to talk to. Your name was mentioned in my first sentence. Now just help me find another 20" can and I can start posting some numbers as well... He will rebuild my powerheads pretty much like yours, after I save up a few $$$. Right now I had enough expenses to last me a while... you know.
Another thing; next time you go to Florida you just must stop by and we will go for a ride. It is beautiful here....

Well, as you know, I have 2 20" mids, but one is already slated for that next project, and I think I should keep the other for a spare, but I have been watching for one for you. I'm sure he can get your rig running right as it is, and can make more power for you down the road.

I know he will. Yeah, I must get some parts for my winter projects but I am also happy with what I got after what I just went through. I also got the stickers for the engines before I left LV, and will mount tomorrow and then post some pictures. They are supercool...
