I bought a new to me 2004, 19' Customweld Viper II jet boat this summer, I live in Central BC , ( Kamloops ) and now the summer fun is over and time to get ready for sleddin. I have never owned a jet boat before and am not entirely sure what to do for winterization. The motor is a inboard Chev 4.3 litre 220 hp with an X -stream jet drive, any helpful hints would be appreciated.

Ice in the block and exhaust is the killer. I usually filled the block and exhaust logs with antifreeze then drained as much out as possible. Fog the motor and spray outside of engine and metal exhaust with WD 40.
