I do not normally work on Suzuki, but helping someone out, so have no info on Suzuki.
We have not got spark on the bottom 2 cylinders.
Need info to test Stator, triggers and CDI.
Will be very grateful for any info.

Okay
A more simple question.
Could a faulty charge coil (stator coil) give me a drop of spark on 2 cylinders.
Are the charge coils, high speed and low speed or one per 2 cylinders.
Have different resistance between the 2.
The 2 trigger coils have equal resistance, which means they should be okay.

No one know Suzuki.
I know this model did not scream and fly.
More like Whine and Pop.
Had a few many years ago that the piston would just break.
Pieces of the skirt would fall off, no real evidence of what caused it.
Some new pistons and never saw them again.
My main dislike for them has originated in the difficulty in getting spares.
Mainly down to Local distributor and then having to order through a local agent.
Too many steps in the process for bugger ups, and Murphy would always oblige

I'm not a SUZUKI expert, but i do work on a few of em. What year are you working on? Around 87 or 88 they went to the CDI ignition which used pick-up coils under the flywheel and fed this to the CDI module and the TPS sent the throttle signal and the CDI adjusted the timing. The CDI modules on them rarely fail on them, but the older systems did have a few issues. I personally like all of the SUZUKI's. Have you tryed swapping coils around to see if it follows the coils? Also check your wiring to the pick-up coils if it is a CDI.

Coil swap was done first.
Bottom 2 cylinders are dead on the cdi.
It is an old model.
No TPS.
Just Trigger and charge coils.
14 wire switch box.
Wiring looks good.
Both triggers have same resistance, about 370 ohms
Charge coils have different resistance, 125 ohms and about 700 ohms.
Have been told most likely the CDI, but expensive to try, need to be sure.

I haven't ever worked on the pre-CDI units, is it possible to swap around the connections on it to see if you can get fire through those 2 circuits? There's a few guys here who play with the SUZUKI's, but you may have to wait a few days for one to see your post. Wish I could help more.

follow the test procedure, but most likely the power pac, suzuki's have very dependable ignition systems, if a failure has occured its most likely because of bad grounds, chk and clean all grounds first.
