Yup, but some one else might think they is U G L Y. I gave enough room between the front and back so A: people can sit on them and B: so I can put some big speekers in them, or C: storage. I don't have any good photo's and my boat has been in the mountains all summer. And this foto will show a bit of what they look like. Theye did a biatching job lining up the colors from front to rear. They start out on the side and wind their way into the back of the front seat and come over the top. 6 colors total.

Cobra1,

I like your idea of storage space in the seats, but I can’t get away with it that easy. My requirement for my seats is that they sit extremely low in the boat… and unless you have 2 inch long legs you won’t be bending your knees much. So now we have the passengers in the boat with legs stretched out, so length will be a problem. So I must have the passengers heads close enough together, but far enough to prevent noggin to noggin contact. My though is to make the font seat a bucket like you did, and the in the rear a straight back to allow the passenger in the back to shift weight.

Pics are always a good idea for idea stealing:reddevil:

Mine sit 6" off the floor. The total length of the seat is 5'. I hear ya on the head butt issue. I have a speaker hole in the wood I just havn't cut the material to install one, or put a bigger hole in it to have a door for storage. I built them in about 2 hours.

1/2" ply wood, weight maybe 50 pounds each.
