a guy i kinda know has a hydrostream bass boat. what name was givin to these boats??

If it's a 17', it's a Varmint . Check in the for sale listingd here in Hulls Under 20' , you will find pics of one listed by Swamp Boy (David) Rich Martin 018 :thumbsup:

its a 17' with a 225 yamaha v-max hpdi

18 foot Hooker had the Virage ZT bottom
20' Vantage had the Vegas V bottom
The Varmint seems to have had a unique bottom.

Is it the blue one?? The varmint is just a vector with a open deck am pretty sure :)

seeing his boat made me buy mine recently bought a 1983 vector no motor been rewiring entire boat ,new stereo, redoing wood in seats, all new guages , steering wheel, hydrolic jackplate ,carpet is perfect and gelcoat near perfect. plan to build a 2.4 200 . will be asking alot of questions on setup and other stuff

as best as i could previous owner had the floor replaced without pulling the floor out how can i do it???

Tap test!! Or moisture meter. Im sure somone well chime in sooner or later

i've been all up under it tappin all over the bottom and it sounds solid all over no dull sounds......... over on the setup and rigging forum some say mount the motor to the transom some say jackplate any opinion???

im running the same setup with a modified 200 2.5 be CAREFULL seat time is important dont push it until you know how its gonna react as i was told (it can kill you fast but you wont be the first) respect it and have fun if you have any ?s ask

thats what i hear got a ranger runnin mid 70's now but never driven anything faster i'll try to take it slow at first
