with a 90 hp block thats been cut for the 140 exhaust and had the ports squared off using the 140 exhaust ,heads ,reed valves and 1 5/16 carbs , what horse power range should i be in

That was weird there!:eek: Short answer, I would guess that you probably picked up 10 to 15 hp with the mods you've made. Anyone else out there with more experience want to chime in? I'll be interested to see, too!:D

i had to build a quick power head to get me running again ,i dropped a cylinder in my 140 so i figured i would do that to get me by untill i build my 140 back up

nobody knows . LOL .if any one cant figure that one out heres another curve ball , i put on a set of 85 hp heads from a 3 1/4 bore block to reach the compression i thought i needed 140 psi

125 crank hp if you did not reuse the 140 intake filler blocks. 130 if you did.

I have never put mine on a dyno, so I don't know. But for 99 cubic inch crossflow it does well.

IF everything is right then look for around 120-125hp.
Did you check the clearances on the small bore heads? .040 everywhere or it will burn.
