What year and hp did these carbs come on? My manuals have every carb BUT these, lol...

Are you sure? My merc book covers years 72-89 45hp-225hp and there is no mention of 31's or 39's. Ask T-REX, he is the Master of the Merc.

I know 31's kame on tha 88 200, kuz when John lamboo brung over tha "ho", it had 31's on it, and it wuz a cherry, never had tha covers off(cepp fer plugs)....39's, I don't know, but I thank they wuz on 2.4 175's, but wouldn't bet a bunch ov money on it!!

Yea I have a 175 and dun did check, it has 34's on it. I have a cherry 200 that has never been opened up. It's an 83 with good carbs on it.

I have a ModVP/carb BP mota out in the shop, and I'm almost positive it has W-39's. Can't promise that they were the carbs that came on it, though.

These are on both a 2.4 bridgeport AND a 2.0 Champ. I was curious as to what jets the manual shows. The bridgeport cooked a piston with .076 mains in less than 20 seconds while I was testing on the Dyno. :(

Just checked my manual, and it doesn't show the 39's either. It shows 46's for the BP (.086 jetting), 46's for the ModVP (.094 jetting), and 48's for the XR2 (.080 jetting).

Or I could just have you send me a bridgeport chip and run EFI, lol...
