Help With A Merc Serial Number

merc parts express come up with "150/175/200 efi (1200413YY)" not sure what the number is in () maybe a date code jan 2004 ?? ??
this site (merc parts express) has gone totally useless can't even get a price on a part till check out

Thanks for the info. Can anyone tell the actual model year from the SN ?

That model is between the standard V6 ignition with coils and switch box and the latest ecu type ignition.
They were only made for about 2 years I think 2002 and 2003, but definately not sure on the dates.
One of the most difficult to trouble shoot but very nice motor.
Never had to touch one. Run with out issues.
Do not even see the customers for servicing, they just run.

Thanks for that information. It looks like we have an EFI 200 2.5 that is somewhere after model year 2000? Anyone with any additional comments on the year and ECU would be much appreciated.
