:confused:Is an ebbtide dyna-trak 15' or 16' sport model a good boat? I know one for sale with a trailer for $1500. Is that a good deal? It is rated for a 120 hp motor. I have a 4 cylinder 100 hp mariner (90's model) that I thought about putting on it. How do you think it would perform? I also have a 2005 model 90 hp mercury. How would it perform? thanks for comments.

I have experience with only one, but it was a good boat. A friend owned an 18 footer made in the early eighties. He did have to put a transom in it in the mid ninties, but as we all know that could have been for numerous reasons. While he was at it, it needed a small stringer repair and he replaced the floor while it was apart. Back together better than new and the boat is till running around in Charlotte Harbour somewhere. The 18 ran in the fifties with a 115. Hope this helps. Like any boat, check it over good and know what you are buying. Maybe take a friend who doesn't want to buy a boat for a more objective opinion. Good luck!
