head temp sensor wiring

are there any ground wires involved on a head temp sensor. head temp sensor wire is tan/blue. i know it hooks to the tan/blue from the harness but is there a ground any where. right now the motor i'm working on just has the tan/blue's hooked together but is not working. is there an ohm test i can do on the sensor to see if it's good. trying to get this thing going before morning. maybe we can take it out for an hour or two before the monsoon hits.

there is no ground if you ground it it will set the horn off?? don't know about an ohm test someone else will have to help you oin that hope ya get her goin
