CARBON fiber dash

I think that Livorsi built the one in my FOUNTAIN, maybe they can sale you a blank and you have it cut to fit? lot's of cool colors

I Did Mine In Vinyl Wrap. Take Your Existing Piece And Cover It. I Had Mine Cut Out Of 1/8 Aluminum And Covered It. Looked Great. Just Another Idea.

Go to www.robotcombat.com and in there you will find carbon sheets.

Order the thickest one they have and then cut it and put it on....looks great and it is real carbon.

I didn't see your dash in the rocket, only the motor,,,,,,,

I saw the blanks available, never worked with it before, so I don't know how hard it is to cut, etc.....don't want it to come out looking like something I did

He did my dash while I waited.the first one was off by a bit ,of course it was my fault I forgot to tell him about my bezels.no problem he just whipped out another one. all of an hour and a half.You should look for him at Ft Lauderdale show.He will also make a wire harness. located in Miami

Got one on my Alli but dont know who made it. You need to make a trip out to Appling one day and look at both of mine. Got her rigged and went on a shakedown run. NOT TOO GOOD. Got some gremlins to get straightened out but I Like Mikey-I Likey.

I have been working on the dash of my STV, still not complete (gauges are just setting in place) but you get the idea. Carbon Fiber is nasty stuff to Sand, Grind or Machine.

I took the stock dash out of my XB-2003 several years ago and installed my own CF dash,,,, it turned out nice,, beats the heck outta the imitation stuff Allison puts in there from the factory. I made all the panels in my XB outta CF.

I'll see if I can find some pictures.

Damyankee - your dash looks great, where did you order your CF from?

Ebay special you just have to hunt until you find what you want. The carbon fiber with the Digitron and steering was pretty expensive, it is 1/2" thick. I machined it down to recess the digitron and allow probe hookups thru the back, it also supports the front of my cable steering. The side peices are .100, I didn't need the strength there.
