Just wanted to introduce myself, my name is John and I am out here in Colorado Springs, CO. Just picked up an old Glastron Carlson CV16 (for my midlife crisis as my wife put it). I am in the process of getting her back in shape. Just had a new bow tank fabricated and had the old Merc 115 rebuilt (well still waiting for it to be finished). I am going to refinish the color myself...gelcoat is all faded, chipped and cloudy. Any suggestions on how to remove and refinish would be appreciated. Boat runs and handles great. Looking forward to getting her look back up.
