I Lost A Prop Shaft And Prop And Subsequently Purchased Two Different Props.i Was Running 2 14.5 X 30 3 Blade Counter-rotating Cleavers But Couldnt Find An Exact Replacement Prop.i Am Now Running Two 15 X 30's.with The Old Props And Neutral Trim I Was Turning 7500rpm With The New Ones I Am Turning 6000.the Motors Are Mounted On The Center Holes And I Have Good Water Pressure.my Thought Was To Move The Motors Up One Hole And See If This Corrects The Problem.anyone Have Any Other Suggestions?
This Is On A 24 Skater Running Two 260hp 2.5's

If you move the motor's to the 4th bolt hole you will run out of water pressure! At least mine did with my 260's. Are they Mercury Cleaver's? MY 260's would turn the 15X30's but it would take it quite awhile to get there. They seemed much happier with 14.5's. I think i have three set's, one pair 28's and 2 pair's of 30's. PM me if you are interested. Hope this helps.

Im a firm believer of leaving well enough alone, once you start changing things the chase goes on, but 1500 rpm with 1/2" prop diameter? something doesnt sound right.....

Let's not compare Diamond 280's with stock 260's! My buddies 28 with Diamond 280's will sling 15X30's into orbit.(15X32's also!) My experience with 32's on stock 260's is lackluster at best. 14.5X30 are about perfect. 110.0 GPS, 3rd bolt hole, Stock except A48 chip's, Light on fuel.8000 RPM. My experience anyway.

From my experience the Labbed 14.5 X 32's are the ticket for your best #. 14.5 X 30's are for everyday or with a load. 28's are too small. I also ran 260's. I can not remember what height I ran.

IMPO, BBlades are great for getting them Labbed or tweaked. I found them to be better than Mercury.

I agree with Mr. Pitt something doesn't sound right. the 30's should crank up about the same r.p.m. . you should be trying props out before purchasing if possible.
