40 amp to 16 amp conversion

be a 2 or 3 months for i do this but what all gets changed. i know the exhaust divider, coils, flywheel, stator, trigger but what else. motor is a 99 200 efi. thanks, erik kiser

U don't have to change tha exh divider, coils, or tha trigger.....Swap out tha stator and flywheel, and go to tha rectifier...U will have to either change out the top cap, or retap the holes holding on the stator, kuz they iz a differnt thread and the screws hold'in on tha 40 amp iz longer than tha 16...

If U are goin to a hipo cowl, then U will have to change out tha exhaust divider to put coils on the cover(I have dun it with the fish'in mota divider, but it's a pain)...

thanks rex. left that part out. trying to go to a high performance cowl. i have a real clean drag mid i'd like to put on my boat but it won't work with the factory cowl.
