1983 2.4 EFI Motor????????? HELP

I just came across what is supposed to be a 1983 2.4 Formula EFI horn motor (butterfly faces down towards bottom pan) 20" bass mid, stock lower, looks like a factory race powerhead with no paint, fuel rail and injectors, cowling says Formula 2.4 litre EFI. Trim pump sits on the outside of clamp bracket. looks like 1 peice tuner and 2 peice heads.

Can anyone tell me the history of this motor or anything about it or is it a good one to buy.

sounds like an old down draft motor , with the old efi computer on the front with the cooling fins? i had 2 of them way back then. ran good in there day .
