Well, I got a phone call from Bobby today and he told me that he had been in touch with the local DNR and the date that seems to work for them and for us will be September 20. Bobby is out of town right now and he called to see if I would start this thread. I checked Itchy's event thread and didn't see any other events going on that weekend in our area.
So, get the props ready and we will see ya'll then. :cheers:

Update!
Date Change- We have had to change the race date again :(
We were contacted by the local sheriff's office and the Sept. 20 date was on the same weekend as the Bainbridge Bikefest and the sheriff's office would not be able to assist us on that weekend. The new date is on September 27.

I GOT A SNEEK PEAK AT THE T-SHIRTS TODAY,,I E-MAILED OLD STV A SHOT IF SOMEONE ELSE WOULD LIKE TO SEE THEM THEN PUT YOUR E-MAIL ON HERE AND ME OR HIM ONE WILL SEND YOU A LOOK!!!
SOMEONE ASKED ABOUT THE COURSE; I WILL HAVE HIGHLY VISIBLE MARKERS AT 800,,,,1000,,,,AND FOR THE OLD SCHOOLERS(i'm with you) WE WILL HAVE THE 1320' MARK!!!
THE TIME WE ARE PERMITTED FOR IS 11:00AM UNTIL 6:00PM---COME EARLY AND STAY LATE!!!!
I WILL TRY AND MARK OFF LIKE I DID LAST YEAR FOR THE BOATS, ESPECIALLY THE OUT OF TOWNERS!!!!!
WE HAVE HAD TWO GREAT AND SAFE EVENTS IN THE PAST AND WE REALLY NEED TO TRY FOR A THIRD---HAVE FUN BUT KEEP IT SAFE!!!!:cheers:

There Are Actually 4 Hotels Within Say A Half Of A Mile From The Boat Landing. Usually I Find One Motel That Wants To Be Involved And That Is The One That I Recomend, I Will Get Some Info And Get It Back To You, There Is No Worry With The Motels Around Here Being Booked Up!!!!!

Itchy If The Alabama Crew Wants To Use A Different Boat Landing , There Is One Right At My House And It Is Only About Two Miles From The Sandbar Mabye Jimmy Can Make It With Those 19 Heads On That Mirage Without Any Damage. It Would Keep Yall From Going To Town And There Is A Camp Ground!!!

If Any One Wants To Bring A Camper That Will Be Coming From Fla. There Is A K.o.a. Camp Ground Right Across The Road From The Landing!!!!

Bobby, I passed all the info on the race and locations to Kenny (K.I.S.) He lives in Palatka and I asked if he could spread the word down there to get some of those ol' car moto boats to come on over. Hadn't heard back from him yet.

Ya , I know all about those Old Slow mirages . I owned one for 11 years ! We can run up to any bouy you like as long as the last one we pass with me in front was the finish line . :D Rich Martin 018:cheers:

I might have to get a runnin start so I'm on plane by the 1000' mark.:eek:

Maybe you and some of the other Fl. crew can make it on up. Like to see some you guys and always like meetin new ones. Since we didn't have Rucker 4 this time, this would be a real good one for everyone to come. Plus the advantage of runnin 800', 1000', or 1320'.
