Good to see Short Beach was full of boats, everybody relaxing, having a good time, I just do not understand why they don`t dredge it to make it like it was ., and they dredged the inlet ? it doesn`t look like it, Although that beach on the west side of Lupe Bay bridge was really packed, thats a hot spot. Boats are alot of fun,I took the manager from my wifes job out with us , ( never been on a boat ) He was truly amazed how different life on the water is . Even with 6 people on my boat eating chips and natchos,I had a great time, even with the police Jet boat chasing me 3 times and finally catching me at Hudson,( they were really upset , I guess cause I waved to them,How was I to know they wanted me to pull over ? ) It was a good Sunday and when the boat was Flying the girls were Screaming !

The 'sore thumb' across from democratic point was the busiest I have seen it all season as well on Saturday. Saw a nice 30' yellow superboat (tempest model) with twin 250's that looked nice
Sunday, the sandbar behind oak beach was pretty packed as well, and it was the first time all season I had to wait to launch at captree, and had to circle when we got back waiting for a spot to open, was good to see it so active

I left Freeport about 10 in the morning, hit some real dense fog around Tanner, turned back west and went to Zachs for the day.Left there about 2 and had a nice run back west with a boat named Jesse James through the state channel, but it got a little reckless and the wife was screaming at me( I thought she was yelling "faster",turns out I was wrong) so I backed off and headed into Freeport. Boating is great fun!!

Man , I am having flashbacks of Delta Gamma Rho beach parties at Loop Bridge . Just so happens I picked up a girl named Gina Rizzo at that beach at Loop Bridge in my Sidewinder ........we've been married for 25 years now !!

Hey Tom , I used to go to those beach partys at Beer Can beach, we used to get drunk and jump off loop bridge,( we had look outs ) We must Know each other some how, Small CRAZY world! ,There were only 2 boats at loop on the north side, but on the south side they were lined up all the way to the marsh,Those parties went on for quite a few years. They were Awesome!

Tom does your wife have a brother that owns some salvage yards up north? I know a Rizzo from De he had a summer home there. I think he lived in Philly or Wilmington. Rick
