Great to see they still remember there are under 20' outboards . It's just to bad they only want to use them as props to explain theory . There are enough events going on all over the country and certainly here in Florida to do a couple of articals on . Havasu isn't the only place to go boating . With events such as RiverRanch , BlingMasters ,ToysForTots and many other river runs ,it seems they would like to attend one or two . Rich Martin 018:rolleyes:

I have tried to do some articles for HotBoat that talk about smaller high performance boats, and outboards inparticular. I'm hoping they will focus more on these areas, since there are so many of us that are interested. It still remains to be seen where their new managment's interests are. There are other magazines that are trying to give some time to small performance hulls.

Greg's pictures are the best...and Helmut's boat has got to be my favorite setup ever! Greg got me the 'blowout' picture when I was writing the article and he dug out the 'roostertails' photo when I was looking for a good shot of what a 'perfectly setup' boat was supposed to look like. Maybe we can do some more articles in the future that show Helmut's great boats and setups! His new boat is really something! Anybody have ideas?
