Alligator Lake Schedule of Events

Ok gang, here we go...the countdown is on and here is what to expect.

Friday...

People will be arriving. A few of us are planning to do dinner at Greensides early evening. The day itself will be spent getting things ready. I will put my boat in and use the GPS to verify that the markers are in the proper spots (I noticed one is out of place). I'm sure that some will hang out at Mikey's, there will also be some hanging out at the Lakeside Inn that night.

Saturday...

In the morning, the hangout will be at Mikey's. Hang out there, easy to find with plenty of beach parking. Be sure to bring sand spikes to tie your boats up, some will need to park slightly off of the beach. The course is right out there, I'm sure there will be rigs to pull tubes and skis as well if anyone is so inclined. Lunch will be at Mikey's as well.

In the evening, for people that wish to attend, the party will be shifting to the Ziemers. Travel by boat or car, easy to find. The food is already ordered, and the caterer will be setting up while we are on the lakes. The food and everything should be ready by 6ish. In addition to the food, arrangements are being made for an inflatable water slide (with strict requirements that it be able to hold adults :reddevil: ). This is going to be for Jo's 40th, so everyone bring their party hats and get ready to celebrate! Party goes until last one standing! Just be sure not to wake me since I'll be passed out on the couch...lol

Sunday...

Back to Mikey's for some more fun on the water! The course will be there, and once again, everyone just hang out and have a good time! Going to be plenty of leftovers I'm sure, plus the Lakeside Inn makes some kick azz hamburgers!

For ammenities, there is a Publix and a Winn Dixie just down the road (maybe 2 miles or so). There is also a Shell station right down the street, and a 7-11 just past that.

the rains that we are having have brought the lakes up to a good height. there should be no problem unless your takeing a cabincruiser threw the cannals. also i have plenty of space in my back yard by the lake for anyone who wants to campout. the gatorlake gang is looking forward to seeing ya soon. get them moatas tuned we'll seeya then:thumbsup:

Water is very good, hell my barge draws more water than any of your rigs and I made it through all the canals two weeks ago with no issues at all, and we have had more rain since then. No need to worry about water levels at all. Only hairy place is the canal going into Center Lake, just idle out a little ways past the "Resume Normal Operation" sign and you are all set...there is a little sandbar there.

Mike , If you can trough it in the truck and bring it over just incase , I;d really appreciate it . It just pushed another load of epoxy out of a void as it started to kick . This thing is really pissing me off now . as close as I can tell , it seems to have corroded through the Bob's nose cone from between the cone and the case . I thought it was pushung water up from around the fill plug , but this doesn't seem to be what it's doing . I know I shouldn't complain , after all it's been a good one ! Rich Martin 018:(

That sucks Mikey. Guess it was more than just a switch box??? :( It's always something with these damn boats. I had to buy a new ECU this week so I feel ya. Guess that's the price we pay for going fast. :iagree: :D

I'm here to tell you ,that crew from the AlliGator Lake know how to through a Party . Mike had some fellows cooking BBQ all day with some great side dishes also . Had a Great turn out also . I counted up to 40 boats on the beach at any given time ,with others out on the lake playing also .There where easally over 100 geust . Got to do some testing early ,altough the side by side runnig got shut down ,we where still alowed to run as hard as we liked as single passes .All in All , It was a Great Time With A Bunch Of Good People . Mike talked to the Wild Life Officer that showed up ,and it was explained to him how to obtain the proper permits to do as much side by side running as we want in the future . And Mike assured us ,if the feed back was positive on this one ,he will do it again . So keep an eye on the board for future planning . I'll certainly be back , What A Blast !!! Great time! Party at Mikey's was top notch, it took a lot for the crew to get all of the food and even the beach prepared! Good job gang!

Ziemers party last night was great! When Shanna and I left Mikey's we got back to Ziemers before anyone. That water slide was a blast, we went on it for about a half hour before anyone else showed up..lol Although we were ALL a little slow this morning. I think I finally pulled out of the yard about 11:30 or so...lol

It was another weekend of good times, good friends, and of course, good food! Can't wait until next time!:thumbsup::thumbsup:

i just wanted to say thanks to ya'll for coming to the gatorlake hang out. i finnaly got to match up names & faces of people on s&f.:thumbsup:i also think that matt,the DIRTY BAG B.B.Q. AS ALWAYS!!! cooked up some of the best eat'ns i've had, thanks matt:cheers: thanks also to the count he left me some of that clear liquid:reddevil:the law that showed up were not bad and even offered to help with the next event\party if ya'll want one. i never knew how a word like EVENT could get ya in so much trouble:eek: it was nice to meet shanna & her mom. grant now i know how she can control you:iagree: just give up and do what she says. i can't wait to have onother one, next time we'll get the permit they want & we can run side by side till the allisons put all the peanutwagons on the trailers. even the red rocket got'im one.
