i have a 2001 280 sport and would like to know if an ecu for the R.O.S. is better then the one that comes on the sport, advantages if there are any?

Higher rpm limits , just about the only difference and or advantage over the consumer box. If you need the additional RPMS the ROS is a way to get
there..
