Just finished getting this thing back together and now working out all the bugs. Motor fired right up and idled great after putting in the water. Hole shot was terrible but ran pretty good for about 2 miles.. Stopped to check everthing before heading back and motor bogged badly when i hit The gas and would die everytime i gave it throttle. A little background on motor: 1986 XR2 w/horizontal front, 200 carbs and reeds. Heads cut .050. Has electric fuel pump set at 4.5 pounds stock timing and oil injection removed. Motor is on a 1989 Skeeter SF175. Any help would be appreciated and if more info is needed let me know. Thanks, Paul

No, it has stock 200 jets. I think 82,s . I also removed timing module but didnt adjust timing. Do i need to bump timing up and would it be better to put stock XR2 carbs back on and jet up? Thanks again for any help.

If it wuz me, I would put tha 2liter carbs back on(az iz) and see if U still have a problem...Don't go strech'in it out(altho the changes U made may not warrant more jet) but juss see if the problem U have remains...

U will also have to let us know what carbs U have off a 200....theyz a chit load, and all have differnt jetz.....

Number on carbs 46-111608 and has WH stamped on top. The jets are 80's and 82's. I will try the stock carbs Sat urday and see how it does. Thanks for the help. Paul
