Has any one ran a 383 stroker stern?

Has any one ran a 383 stroker stern? just thinking about my options.

yep I have. They run good. Don't have the torque of a 454 but they still run good. With out being able to get the 454 or 502 any more that is the best choice when it comes to re-powering boats that don't have the engine room for the 496.

yea, I'm gona try to run a 383 with about 10 to 15psi. Turbo

At that boost level, it's gonna get finicky about octane and head gasket sealing, never mind the expense of a proper shortblock.
Might be better to think about a big block; not so exotic.
