i have 1989 70 hp. evinrude vro...someone has removed the vro and installed a electric fuel pump from a car...the engine runs just runs too rich i was runing it on a hose and the eletric fuel pump went out.. I was wondering if i could change it over too a regular fuel pump diafram...? They have the fuel line running into the bottom carb then splices off into the others ..just wondered if it would have enough pressure too run off the pressure from the primer bulb....I don't wanna deprive the other 2 cylinders from fuel and scare them up from not enough oil...Plz gimme some advice....I need too get this thing running and i need too see a diagram on how too run the fuel lines too the carbs....i have a maunal but it doesn;'t show any pics... thanks Keith

The older 3 cylinder OMC's had a 3 hose pump. One side was fuel in, one was fuel out, and then one of the bottom to the bottom crankcase to pulse the pump. Don't see any reason you can't buy a 3 hose pump and run it.
