I have lots of Liberator tunnels. 21's run great. The 25 has the same bottom as a 24 Skater. Click here to see what I have in stock. I'm painting another new 21 now. http://liberatorfl.tripod.com/id19.html

Id stick with the skater's or one of the splashes of their hulls if your going to go with a tunnel hull (ie. trick extreme, or a motion.) I havent seen any liberators around this area, but i think thats because they dont have the freeboard of the skater hull.

I am familiar with the 21's to some extent. The 24 Skater, 25 Liberator or Motion are in a whole different class. And they are rarer, I think, but the 22 Talon/23 Eliminator may be in between. The 21's are all pod tunnels--Liberator, Eliminator, Cougar. From what I have learned here, they don't tend to have the mid-throttle porpoise of a true tunnel. Without a doubt, the 24-25s are a whole lot more boat. Cost more, they clearly handle rough water much better than the 21s. I suspect they need twins to really run. But they don't turn as well, and if you search these boards you will find some talk about a greater risk of barrel roll in those hulls (may be more in the 21 Skater than the bigger ones, but just do some searches 'cuz I am clearly no expert on them).

There is a great thread here I read before I bought my Eliminaotr comparing the 21 Eliminator or Liberator with the 21 Skater--those in the know liked the Eliminator as a lake boat, ski boat, but if the guy ventured out much into Lake Superior (he was in Wisconsin I think) the Skater was bettter suited.

If you want to go darn fast over a good chop and carry five people for what I think is a lot less money, any of the 21s are fine. I like the post 96 Liberators better, because they have about 6 or 7 inches more freeboard than the Eliminator. And if Randy (Wildman) sets it up, it is a beautiful boat.

If you can afford it and want to get into rougher water, then just be sure you know how to dirive it and get a 24/25.

I love my Motion, great boat and I can insure it for under $500 per year. Unfortunatly we are looking to move up in size so I will be looking for a larger "wallet eating bug" once it sells.

Here are some links to my adds:

The OSO add doesn't reflect the new price yet.

I like what both do for me, the Superboat is a boat that takes skill to drive, where the Skater is a point and shoot boat, and dosent know its a 21' boat.

Cool; maybe you have 2nd generations motors. I had the first year run
of the 225x's. I'm pretty sure it did not say promax, only 225'x on the right side; like your pictures. I could be wrong; Anyway; along w/the 1500xs, the 225x is in my favorite motor's catagory.
