Can I use Permatex Ultra Blue Gasket Maker or Loctite master gasket between the air plenum and the reed plate instead of the regular gasket?

Just be sure to give it time to cure completely before running it, or you could suck a small air leak through it.
Oh, and wipe the surfaces CLEAN with alky or a NO residue solvent/cleaner.

I don't think I would use a silicone base product around fuel. Even if it sys is' fuel-resistant or fuel-proof, it will still soften when gas hit's it.

I would use the correct gasket... IF a leak happens it could be dangerous. Fix it with the proper gaskets..

:iagree: The gasket probably costs less than that tube of RTV
