2.5XS: Compressor drive belt looks like it needs to be tensioned

I was out yesterday with a friend's new (to him) 2.5 XS. The compressor belt was wobbling a lot between the compressor and the alternator.

Is that normal? How much belt dust should you expect?

The automatic tensioner appeared to be working and was not at the extreme end of its range...

the belt dust is normal. you shuold clean your throttle body as they get gunked up

Also change the compressor air filter regularly.
