Nice shots Pete, that Romp was the best ever. I haven't run my boat in the rain in 20 years, but on Sunday, it was actually fun:thumbsup:

Gary, charter member of the Romp. I don't think he posts here.

I dread the thought of water getting in my boat (rain), with the exception of the occasional wet feet. To me it's like leaving the windows down on your car during a storm, but your right that dam run was ear to ear grins the whole way. I would do it over again in a second.

Great photos, Rossi. Too bad Larry's Vking didn't run that day, would have been cool to see them boat side by side at speed...maybe next year.

Nice shots Pete. Look at Jimmy's shoulders in the pic of his boat. A testiment of the good weather we had.

Larry took a few shots of the two boats together at the boat launch beach, hopefully he will post them. We were going to do a little photoshoot but it never worked out.:(

Were those last 2 taken from your site? Nice shots!! That looks nice on the other side. Maybe we should take over the whole point next year.

Yes it was. The sites over there are awsome and the beach is sandy with no rocks. As long as there is a Romp I'll be on that side. You can see whos heading out/in or launching. Best part, thats where everyone cracks the throttle. Alot of people do runs right out there to. Perfect sites to be at right in the midle of the action. Heve to reserve them early enough though.

The only thing missing from the other side are you guys but I hate to give it up, theres always to much action. Aside from that, where you guys are is always dark it seems, even on a sunny day and the rangers cabin is also much further away.

The good sites are 68 - 95
The best being: 68,70,72,73,74,83a,83,84,86,88
