Does anyone have any pictures to post of their paint scheme on their outboard motor cowl?

I am looking for ideas.

Like some I've seen please don't do any flames or skulls.

Depends if your cowl is blue or white? If blue how about a shark. Lets say just the mouth and its sharp tooth grin? But that would be more Verado than Evinrude. How about something like a vintage design from Evinrude?

Are you going to keep the Evinrude name? Or...haha, get a Ficht vinyl sticker made up and completely confuse people! No just kidding.

My boat is navy blue and white Kona 18'. My motor is a 2.6xp. The cowl is actually from an evinrude 200. I removed the "200" plackards and filled the holes in. I will, keep the "evinrude" and "v6" plackards.

I'd like to put louvers on the cowl, but am at a loss to find some. Guess I could just cut them in..??:reddevil:

I was thinking about white on the top and blue on the bottom, and maby get some decals that say "2.6xp" to put on top where the white is.

I like the shark idea, but am fishing for ideas.

those louvers are still avaible from BRP they are Vintage which means no longer being made but they have left overs the Starboard side one is part#329736 @63.09$ and the Port side is part# 329735 @34.53$. i looked up a 1985 johnson 2.6GT so they should be black in color... if you want blue ones let me know and i can look them up.

like the idea but whys it look like its done with electrical tape?

thats an old photo. the boat is from the other side of the planet. The L was photo chopped in by phastboat I think. I saved the pic a while ago.
