Anyone have access to new Evinrude cowl stencils???

they are really cheap if you wanted to buy original and have them changed up- thats along the lines of what we are doing- did not like the factory decals at all

Dave, 3/4's of the skiracers here that have OMC's are running the new ETEC livery, if that is what you want, get hold of the guys at Labsport. I presume that is where they get them.

Dave, go to Liquid Nirvana's website and copy some of his pics then go to a decent vinyl sticker guy and get him to cut and print them to size, should be achievable. Some computer aided graphic artist should be able to do them you would think.
Remember the 250 ETECS are not readily available in the states yet although you could try ETEC1, he may be able to help or try Liquid Nirvana, he may help.
There is a guy here on Scream and Fly running a V4 with Etec livery I think, he must of got them from somewhere to fit his cut down cowl.
Or paint it black!

LOOK HERE (http://shop.evinrude.com/dyn_prod.php?p=763708&k=85333) They are 108USD direct from BRP. The problem is they are US ship only. I'm sure one of us would get you a set and post them to AUS. That is, if you can't have a set made down under.

Thanks alot Simon and guys.. I do like the stickers on your cowl Ken, l will contact the supplier and see if he can do me a set. Is there anything else on the front and back of the cowl and are they much different to the current HO style?

Click on the picture & you will see it from all angles. He may be able to do it with the Aussie Flag instead of the Stars & Stripes. Ask him. He will design anything you want. Whatever you do it will be unique. Type in "Laker" in the search on S&F as well for more info.

I'll take a look tonight and see if I can find a nice Aussie flag to put in, If not maybe one of you guys down under can help me out. Laker's kit came with 2 BRP logos, 2 135's, 1 V4, 2 side flags & 2 Lake Edition's. I Can also do a checker flag.

At this time there will be two designs available.
1. EVINRUDE 250HO "Ski Race Version" (Below)
2. EVINRUDE 250HO "Outback Version" (Still being created)

Below is the 1st Draft of the complete set of decals for the E-Tec 250HO SKI RACE Version. Port & Starboard main decals, together with other front, back & side decals.

The decals will be relatively easy to install, & will be printed on "air release" vinyl which has a snake skin looking pattern in the glue that allows air to come out. When you apply them just use a spray bottle (like a window cleaner bottle) fill with water and put 1 drop of dish soap in it. Spray the cowl and decal then apply and squeegee the water and air out. When dry remove the clear application tape.

Your input is VITAL, so tell all your mates & let Paul (The designer) know your thoughts here.

Paul it was a pleasure to work with you over the week in geting all my colours and dimensions exact..
I received my decals in around 1 week after we agreed on how l wanted things and paid..
I am more then happy with what you have done and cant wait to get them on.. I will take some pics of my engine once l have finished and post them on here so you guys can see..
